Filipino Delicacy

Filipinos are famous when it comes to exotic foods there's nothing to dare about eating such special delicacy like exotic foods, Filipinos are very creativity when it comes in dishes they do their best to produce such tasty and delicious foods like:


Adobong pusa or cat adobo that they cooked with garlic, onion and laurel leaf that seasoned with soy sauce and vinegar.


Roasted rat that can be catch on rice paddies and can be cook in the same way like adobo or like roasted chicken.


Kilawing aso (Raw meat of dog) they slice the raw meat of dog into thin and medium rare size then spice it with grill onions, salt and pepper.

Ginataang kuhol its a snail that can be seen in river, fish fund or even in rice fields, snails is cooked with onion, ginger and pepper with the additional coconut milk. There are other delicacies like adobo and fried snail.


Balut is one of well known exotic food of the Filipinos, balut is a two to three weeks-old hatched egg of duck and cook in hard-boiled and spiced with salt or even vinegar with onion, garlic and chili.


Tamilok is a woodworm found in driftwoods, this kind of woodworm cannot be cook these worm are eaten alive to taste the extract of these worm.


Shrimps jumping salad which is shrimps that can be found in river they prepared it alive and spiced up with onion, grilled unripe mango, salt and citrus juice/vinegar.
